My family and I went on an outing to Deer Lake Park, in Burnaby, just east of where we live about a 1/2 hour's drive. The lake is large enough to host a significant trek—probably close to 2 hours to get around the whole thing. On this chill, but sunny winter's day, with my small children, we simply played with the ice and took some photos.
